Tradition and vision
hbs was created in 2003 by Hervé Benzakein and Philippe Hancock, building on 20 years banking experience within a leading European bank.
Their goal was to make their skills and know-how in the area of wealth management, credit, and investment banking available to wealthy clients on a truly independent basis. Their vision was to offer a full range of services relating to wealth investment.
For close to 20 years hbs has continued to strengthen its expertise in the two key areas of its services: Family Office and Investment Management.
hbs has built a large network of international service providers: a number of banks, law firms, tax advisors and audit firms that help it to provide its customers with quality advice and a high level of service both domestically and on a global basis.
The cautious and independent investment approach of hbs helped its customers protect their wealth and investments through the financial meltdown in 2008 and during the recent market turbulence.
In 2009 we relocated to the historical centre of Geneva. Since 2013 our innovative and independent business model, as well as our values and work ethic, have allowed us to attract several high-level executives from the world of banking and finance. Active managing partners run and control the company.
Over the years hbs has posted solid growth, thanks to the trust of its clients and the professionalism and dedication of its staff. Firmly established in Geneva with an international network of partners, hbs has become a reference as a leading Family Office.
